Your Tour Director manages the day-to-day travel experience, coordinates sightseeing, and ensures the tour runs smoothly while sharing helpful insight throughout the journey.
American Tours coordinates travel arrangements for our guests and assists with the overall travel experience. Select departures may include an American Tours Host once minimum participation levels are reached, providing additional on-site support and a familiar presence for travelers throughout the journey.

Today we experience many of Manhattan’s most famous sights during a guided city tour. See iconic neighborhoods including Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Little Italy, Central Park, and Times Square, along with architectural landmarks such as St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Empire State Building. Visit Rockefeller Center and a festive Christmas shop before enjoying a Broadway performance this evening. This morning we board a ferry for a visit to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, both powerful symbols of freedom and immigration in American history. Later, ascend to the One World Observatory for breathtaking panoramic views of New York City. We will also visit the moving 9/11 Memorial honoring the lives lost. This evening, you may choose to enjoy an optional Broadway show on your own.

A deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your reservation. All reservations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Space cannot be held without a completed registration and deposit.

Flexible Booking Policy
Deposits and Travel Protection Plan payments are fully refundable until 180 days prior to departure.
If plans change within 180 days, the value of your deposit or Travel Protection Plan may be applied as a Future Travel Credit (FTC) toward another tour, provided changes are made prior to the final payment due date.
Future Travel Credits are valid for 12 months from the original deposit date and are non-transferable.

This tour involves a moderate level of physical activity and a fair amount of walking. Guests should be comfortable walking several blocks at a time, navigating city sidewalks, standing for periods during sightseeing, and climbing stairs when elevators may not be available.
Some days may include longer periods of touring, early departures, or extended time exploring popular attractions such as museums, historic sites, and city landmarks.
Due to the physical demands of this itinerary, guests should be able to participate independently without the use of mobility aids such as walkers or motorized scooters.

A valid passport is required for tours traveling outside of the United States, including destinations such as Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Obtaining and maintaining a valid passport is the responsibility of each traveler.

Passports should be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the return date of travel.
Passenger names must be submitted exactly as they appear on the passport.

Cancellation Policy (Without Travel Protection)
More than 180 days – Full refund
179–90 days – Deposit retained
89–60 days – 25% of total tour price
59–30 days – 50% of total tour price
29–15 days – 75% of total tour price
14 days or less / no shows – No refund
Premier World Discovery’s Compass Club Loyalty Program rewards returning travelers with a loyalty credit toward future tours and river cruises. This program provides added value for guests who travel with Premier World Discovery again in the future.
Enrollment:
Guests who have completed a Premier World Discovery tour are automatically enrolled in the Compass Club program.
Loyalty Credit:
$100 per person / $200 per couple applied toward a future Premier World Discovery tour or river cruise.
Expiration:
Loyalty credits are valid for 24 months from the date of your last tour.
Application:
When applicable, loyalty credits are applied by the Tour Administrator prior to the final payment due date.
Important:
If you have previously traveled with Premier World Discovery, please notify American Tours at the time of registration so your Compass Club Loyalty Credit can be properly applied to your reservation.
